Our hat goes off to all players in these teams. It's hard enough to back up week but to add a minimum 1.5 hrs drive each way takes solid commitment. Our wider community thanks you for making the effort and welcomes you in as you're all Donkeys!
Lets start with Narrabri. Col and James Stewart have been around for years on and off so when Col turned up at the start of this season with his son Jacob the nucleus of a team was formed. Throw in a few other family members (Seth and Ezra) who have left Farrer only last year and know the Ten4 Boulder League well and they've got a team.
The New England Donkeys started out as the Armidale Donkeys with Dani and Ash Powell leading the charge. Then Nick, Aiden and Robyn from Uralla put their hand up and the New England Donkeys were born. Since then, Simon, Amber and Georgina have joined the team. All are doing well and weekends are the focal point for these teams of course.
All of this is exiting for us because our Club structure allows our separate communities to unite. It's really only the beginning in this space with so much more to do but it's a start and once again we thank these guys for making it happen.
