Green dominated on Wednesday night. The Hornets were in full flight with their depths swelling on the back of some guiltless recruiting from Bindi.
With open arms regardless of pretty much everything, the Hornets have welcomed quite a number of new players from all walks of life. Mervin Liang has joined us from Brisbane and will add to the capacity in their higher grade ranks. Coupled with the return of Kyle and a number of their other key forces , the Hornets will be competitive when the end of season comes around - probably well before.
Socially, their ranks have exploded and with the youth now feeding into the clubs there'll be plenty of depth for a long long time. So good. Strength in numbers.
