Opens B Grade made its debut on the weekend also in the T4 PREMIER format.
Each club had one team each and things unfolded quite well all round. The intensity of A Grade it is not - the boulders become less dynamic in general but the technical component is very much still there. Each team performed really well but it was the Hornets who took the honours on 88 points whilst the Badgers and Donx fought it out to end equal on 77 points.
This game was the first of its kind so the result was a clear secondary outcome. By all reports twas a good day out it seems.
Next steps will be looked at in coming weeks but it appears likely a shortened B Grade season could evolve out of this in 2025. Watch this space.
Whilst A Grade is by selection, B Grade is an open invite event for adults and we can swell the game to accommodate as many teams from each club as needed.
