IF YOU'RE AN ADULT:

Just rock-on-up for a casual session at the gym on either a Mon or Thu evening at 5:45pm.  You'll get a feel of how the activity of bouldering itself works first and this is the natural first step. From there, you can either keep coming casually for recreation or join a team in the social comp (which uses the T4 EVERYDAY format) .  There are 4 to 12 players in a team so you can join one with your friends or you can establish you own team if that works for you.  The handicap system allows players of mixed abilities to play together so be with your friends is key.

Each club has multiple teams so it really is just a case of finding your tribe and that starts with the decision to pull on the climbing shoes. 

If you're totally new and not keen to join a team but would like to track you r progression, then you can simply join the POOL in your club. 

IF YOU'RE YOUTH: 

A similar thing applies here too.  However, youth don't have flexible recreation like adults.  The same T4 EVERYDAY format is used. Youth are all in teams so the way to join is to rock-on-up at a time that works for you (as per the CALENDAR), test-drive the sport with a one-off no obligation session.  The key thing is friends so if you've joined with two friends (teams of 3 to 6 players) then you can have you own team.  Or we can help find a team for you if and where needed. 

The common denominator is just showing up.
