Tamworth Bouldering is now firmly established as a major sport in our region. What started out as an obscure sport, the sheer growing mass of participants tells another story. The pattern is clear. You are very much a part of this growth.
2024 has been significant with a lot happening from start to finish...
It feels like a long time ago but the T4 tech only went live online in 2024. Your feedback has been an integral part of this growth and we are eternally grateful. The T4 League has been developed in Tamworth and is a part of the origin story for both organisations.
All T4 League seasons have had consistently around 250 players across all divisions and and the community has a broad cross section of the Tamworth community which is really pleasing. Four seasons per year and playing consistently every week.
A Grade started in 2024. The skill level of the athletes and teams improved game by game and the growth was tremendous.
The Vilimaa Cup finished 2024 well and included a Newcastle rep team so this too is pleasing with a network now opened up with our coastal neighbors.
The Kaputar Cup successfully attracted some of the young guns from around NSW and beyond.
In summary, 2024 was jam-packed. Little wonder we're all tired and the Christmas break allows for some recharging before launching into 2025 full swing. Plenty happening here but we'll wait to after new year to tell this story.
