The energy of this game was magnificent - as usual. Youth enthusiasm is incredible.
The Hornets were looking to go back-to-back with a strong team familiar with one another. The Badgers had a few new faces and would have to work hard for it which was never in doubt. The Donx welcomed back Chloe Byrnes which increased their chances of a solid result.
When Vedran Duric topped in the dying moments of boulder D, the Hornets came agonisingly close but it wasn't to be - falling short by one single point. The Donx took the win 87, Hornets 86, Badgers 76. Great game. Well done to to all.
