The regular T4 social competitions are well under way but there are some other events on the horizon too.
The end-of-season Club Championship event is the first and is now called the Vilimaa Cup. Primary, High School 1st and 2nds will be held on Sat 21 Sep (end of round 9). There will not be an Opens game on this day. Players will be notified of possible team selection at the end of round 7 based primarily one GPA (Grade Point Average) scores.
The annual North West Boulderfest will be held at the end of the next school holidays from 3-5 Oct. The main walls boulders will all be reset with all new boulders and a single social event running over three days. More details will be released about this soon. It's funded by the NSW Department of Regional NSW so youth participation has no cost involved and is all about coming and enjoying the event and our culture.
As a part of the North West Boulderfest, we'll be running a showcase event in the Premier League format called the Kaputar Cup. So whilst it will be run through our local clubs, it's also open for players from outside our area as well.
