The stars look to finally be aligning as we head towards the finals with confidence. Led by a bank of youth, the Opens and the high school club championship divisions look strong.
Fred Eather, Cooper Gale and Lachie Butters have all found a set of higher gears in recent times and will join Nikala Murray in a solid opens team. The fifth player position is up for grabs and with the late scratching of Jack Mitchell and Declan Lewis it'll be interesting who takes the spot. Whoever it is will be surrounded by talent and experience that's for sure.
Whilst the Donkeys have held the title in the high school division before, the only silverware in the opens club championship division is recent North West Boulderfest. The Badgers have dominated the opens division since its inception but the tide could well be turning and these young Donkeys will be going into the final as firm favourites.
