Ten4 Tamworth athletes at the QLD State Boulder titles
Flow Bouldering on the Sunshine Coast hosted the event on the weekend. Nikala Murray, Lachie McNee, Archie Eather and Henry George are pulled on the boots with no result expectations and experience being the order of the day as they're all youth competing in Open A.
This format and level of competition is seriously intense and it's easy to be overwhelmed, especially as this is the highest level of individual competition and they're all technically youth competing against adults. However, each one of them deserved to be there, performed extremely well and each one of them took home significant learnings which will be valuable for them at Nationals early next month.
The event itself was beautifully run and a field of 61 athletes in Open A men and 26 in Open A women showcased some of the best athletes in Australia. Well done all round and a pretty solid road trip too!
