The Autumn Boulder Festival 2024 was a single round event held over the weekend designed to introduce new youth players to our sport.
Sponsored by the Department of Regional NSW and organised by Ten4 Australia the event was a terrific success with good vibes all round. The T4 format is all about inclusion and has a unique handicap system that allows players of different abilities to play together in the same team.
Twenty two teams across registered for the event from sessions that started on Friday afternoon and finished Sunday. Noone in clubs, just mixed teams in the name of a bit of fun. In the end it was the Iguanas and Purple Wombats who featured the highest on the scoreboard but in this type of event the sport itself is the winner.
Round 5 of the A Grade competition was also played on Saturday afternoon to showcase the upper-end of our sport. Great weekend all round and thank you again to the Department of Regional NSW who sponsored the event.
