Tamworth had 12 young athletes competing at the NSW Youth State Boulder titles in Sydney on the weekend. Some are new to this space and others are experienced. This is a pathway for athletes competing as an individual so it differs greatly from our team-based sport.
All athletes competed well in hot conditions and a very different modified format. They can all be proud of their efforts.
In the end, Tamworth will have six people to represent NSW at nationals in April. Archie & Fred Eather, Cooper Gale, Chloe Byrnes, Reese and Hadley Watt.
