The Bobcats (from the Hornets club) have done it again and taken out the Primary division of T4L 25 making it back-to-back winners.
This competition uses a handicap system which rewards consistency and growth over raw capacity. It's all about inclusion. The teams that do best consistently show up for themselves and for their team and improve their scores week to week.
The Bobcats consisting of Declan Cumberland, Jarrah Hillier, Tahlia Welsh, Beau Richards and Isaac Hetherington were made to work hard for the title and it came down the the final round to close it out by the narrowest of margins.
The Red Pandas gained momentum as the season rolled on and the Monkeys found themselves challenging in the final round. The Iguanas had a wee bit much to do to catch them but were always going to challenge.
Westdale Primary had a bunch of teams in but it was going to be the full season consistency that proved the difference. In the end... the team in green took home the bacon. Together with the Attunga Hornets in the opens division, the Hornets won two of the three social leagues this season to close out 2023.
