Young Donkeys Cooper Gale and Fred Eather headed to Melbourne on the weekend to compete in the Victorian Youth Boulder titles in the 14 yrs category named youth B.
Interstate competitors are allowed to compete in cross-state events and the experience of such events is invaluable. Learning and experience was the order of the day and plenty of both were gained. Both boys made finals. Cooper finished 6th in his first isolation finals format and Fred finished 2nd.
Well done boys. Special mention must go to their mothers Kaysha and Bindi for their patient accompanying guidance!
Now back to the Donkey den and prep for our local finals as we come into the back-end of the season.
